Text and notes

Keep the question. Take out the private details first.

Prepare notes, draft messages or other text before sharing them with AI. Paste the text into Adaped, choose the details to hide, and download a copy with consistent replacement labels.

Selections replace exact matching text. Suggestions are optional and do not find every identifier. Read what remains before sharing.

From your document to a usable answer

  1. 1

    Paste or open your text

Start with a UTF-8 .txt file or the paste-text option. Remove unrelated details first so you share only what the AI needs for your question.

  2. 2

    Select original details

Highlight a name or phrase, then choose Replace selected text. You can also type the original text to hide. Each exact matching occurrence uses the same label.

  3. 3

    Check and download the copy

Use the AI copy preview to check the outbound text. Download it to save the matching details locally, then attach the prepared file to your AI. Instructions for AI are separate from your document and your question.

  4. 4

    Paste the answer back

Open Restore answer, paste the returned text and choose Restore original details. Adaped replaces complete recognised labels and lets you download the restored text.

A name is not its only spelling

Selecting Alex Morgan does not automatically select Alex or A. Morgan. Choose each version that matters. The same is true of different phone formatting, shortened company names and email aliases.

Possible matches can help you notice email and phone patterns. Review each suggestion before accepting it. This is not automatic named-entity detection, and there is no promise that the suggestions find every piece of personal or confidential information.

Your first question stays separate

Use with AI offers a copyable instruction block that tells the AI to keep full REF_ labels. Under it, replace the first-question example with what you actually want to know, such as summarising the main points or suggesting clearer wording.

Do not put real names back into your question. Ask about the replacement label or the document generally. Opening ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude does not send anything by itself; you decide what to attach and submit.

Keep a route back to the originals

The prepared download saves the matching list in this browser at this website address. Return here in the same profile to restore it without a password. Private browsing, cleared site data or device policy can remove saved work.

Text is limited to 250,000 characters, with files up to 8 MB. Up to 1,000 distinct replacement choices are supported. The tool prepares text; it does not certify that sharing the result meets your organisation's data rules.

Before you start

Are my pasted notes sent to Adaped?

The current app processes the notes and replacements in your browser. They are not sent to an Adaped document API. The hosting provider still receives ordinary website requests. Read Your data for the distinction.

Can I simply copy the preview instead of downloading?

Download the prepared copy first if you want the matching details saved for a later visit. Automatic saving happens on download, not on each edit or on copying selected text.

Updated . Describes the current app; use fictional data first.
