Restore an AI answer

Bring the answer back. Put the names back in.

You do not need to read an answer about a replacement label and find the person in a separate list. Return the answer to the browser where you prepared the document, and Adaped can restore the matching original text.

Restoration needs both the exact full REF_ labels and their matching saved details. It never guesses an identity from a row number, position or shortened label.

See what changes, and what comes back

Illustrative example. Document examples use fictional details, not a real person's records.

Your original

Alex Morgan: 12500
Sam Taylor: 18000

Your copy for AI

REF_7a91c82d4e60_0001: 12500
REF_7a91c82d4e60_0002: 18000

The answer from AI

REF_7a91c82d4e60_0002 has a budget of 18000.

The restored answer

Sam Taylor has a budget of 18000.

From your document to a usable answer

  1. 1

Save by downloading the AI copy

When you first prepare a document, download the copy for AI. The app saves matching details in this browser before the download. A separate key file is not part of the normal flow.

  2. 2

    Keep the complete labels

Copy the AI instructions and add your own question. Ask the AI to include exact labels wherever it refers to the selected detail, including any downloadable file.

  3. 3

    Add the returned answer

Use Restore answer on the same website and in the same browser profile. Drop in a supported returned file, or paste text and choose Restore original details. A matching file restores automatically.

  4. 4

    Read and download the result

Check the restored wording before using it. Restoration puts labels back; it does not verify the AI's reasoning, calculations or recommendations. Download the restored copy for local use.

A new structure can still work

An AI can reorder rows, summarise an Excel sheet in prose or return a supported file of a different type. Exact labels can still restore wherever they appear in the extracted answer. Adaped does not depend on the original row order.

If the AI renames a label to Person 1, drops its project identifier or changes its characters, ask it for a corrected answer using the original labels. Unknown or mixed labels block a restored download rather than producing a partially guessed result.

When the matching details cannot be found

Check the website address and browser profile first. Work saved at the earlier private-analysis-test.vercel.app address remains there; adaped.com cannot read it. A second browser, another profile or private browsing is also separate.

If you deliberately saved an optional restore file, use More, then Open restore file. It contains originals and has no password, so keep it private. Without the saved list or a matching restore file, the labels alone cannot recover the names. Start again from your original document.

No password for new work

New matching details are available to anyone using the same browser profile. The app is not a separate password-protected vault. Use an appropriate device/profile and do not rely on the app name or an installed icon to protect access.

An older password-protected project or restore key still needs the password used to create it. The new flow cannot bypass that encryption. Forgetting an older password does not make a new password a replacement for it.

Before you start

Does restoration check the AI's answer?

No. It is exact text substitution. You still need to check whether the answer is accurate, appropriate and based on the right data before making decisions.

Can I share the restored file with AI again?

The restored file contains the original selected details. Prepare a fresh copy first if you want to keep those details out of another AI request.

Updated . Describes the current app; use fictional data first.

Start with a document you are comfortable testing.

No sign-up. Choose the details yourself. Check the copy before sharing it.
